Traditional house fair, Turku fair and congress center 22. - 25.3.2012

COFREEN participated in the Traditional house fair 2012 (Perinnekotimessut 2012) which was in Turku fair and congress center. The fair was held 22.-25.3.2012. COFREEN was present in the booth of Turku University of Applied Sciences together with the Pronatmat-project.

Over 16 500 persons visited the fair in four days. The fair offered free repairservices and restauration and shared ideas how to improve your living traditionally. Various lectures and workshops were conducted by experts. 

In COFREENs booth, samples of roofs made of reed and Berger-sheets were on display, and attracted a lot of interested visitors.  Presenters promoted the benefits of reed utilization and shared information about the traditions of reed as a building material as well as future prospects. Many visitors were eager to know how reed is used in other countries such as Holland and Estonia.
